1. CFA NC Society Merit Scholarship Program
The CFA Society of North Carolina Board of Directors established a CFA Society NC Merit Scholarship program to help offset some of the expense for outstanding candidates. Candidates for all levels of the CFA program can apply for a merit scholarship. The CFA Society NC will award a limited number of CFA NC Merit Scholarships to candidates of all levels for the June 2016 exam. Each scholarship award is $800 to be used for the exam fee and registration for the CFA exam. The competitive scholarship process is open now with a deadline for application of March 31, 2016. 2. CFA Institute Access Scholarship Program
In conjunction with the CFA Institute, the CFA Society North Carolina will recommend candidates for need-based Access Scholarships for the 2017 exam cycle (June/December). These scholarships assist candidates by covering most of the expense involved in registering for exams. The CFA Society NC awarded 15 CFA Access Scholarships to candidates taking the June and December 2016 exams. 4. CFA Mock Exam
Mock exams for candidates at all levels will be offered in the spring on two Saturdays. A mock exam is held in for level one in November. This live mock exam helps candidates prepare for the June exams and has been highly recommended by past candidates.
